1. It Follows (2014)
After carefree teenager Jay (Maika Monroe) sleeps with her new boyfriend, Hugh (Jake Weary), for the first time, she learns that she is the latest recipient of a fatal curse that is passed from victim to victim via sexual intercourse. Death, Jay learns, will creep inexorably toward her as either a friend or a stranger. Jay's friends don't believe her seemingly paranoid ravings, until they too begin to see the phantom assassins and band together to help her flee or defend herself.
2. The Babadook (2014)
Amelia, a widow, who lost her husband in a car crash while on his way to the hospital to help give birth to thier only son, Samuel. She now has to deal with bring a single mother and her sons constant fear of monsters. She soon discovers a childrens book titled "The Babadook", not knowing how it got there, soon discovers that this childrens book character may be a sinister presence lurking around her home.

Aaron answers an online ad and drives to a stranger's house to film him for the day. The man wants to make a movie for his unborn child, but his requests become more bizarre as the day goes along.
