There is so much great new and returning series coming in September, don't give them a miss!

AMERICAN HORROR STORY

The 2016 presidential election of Donald Trump serves as the launchpad for season 7 of Ryan Murphy’s horror series. Set in Michigan, Ally (Sarah Paulson) is wracked with anxiety over the new leader of the free world while clown cult leader Kai (Evan Peters) feeds on others’ unease and fear.

YOU'RE THE WORST

In the Season 4 premiere, Jimmy has gone into hiding after proposing to Gretchen and immediately abandoning her on a hilltop. Elsewhere: Gretchen starts reconstructing her life as Edgar and Lindsay struggle to find normalcy in a post 'Jimmy/Gretchen world.'

BOJACK HORSEMAN

BoJack Horseman's fourth season finds the show continuing to fearlessly traverse the emotional gamut - with results that are heartbreaking as often as they are hilarious.

ONE MISSISSIPPI

Season 2 finds Tig in a will they/won’t be relationship with Kate, her producer at the radio station she left Los Angeles for.

OUTLANDER

The third season picks up right after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant with Jamie's (Sam Heughan) child, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies). Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire.

TOP OF THE LAKE

The second season of Jane Campion's miniseries subtitled China Girl finds Detective Robin Griffin (Elisabeth Moss) back in Sydney, working with a new partner (Gwendoline Christie) as they investigate a body found inside a suitcase on Bondi Beach.

BETTER THINGS

Season 2 of Better Things is haunted by a sense of time passing, as Sam's mother becomes incapable of caring for herself.
