10 New Movie Trailers Released This Past Week!

The newly released trailers of Ghost in the Shell, Colossal and more are all here. Check them out!

 

1. Colossal

Gloria (Anne Hathaway) drinks too hard and parties too much. Her boyfriend has enough of it and throws her out. Gloria returns to her hometown, dreaming of making a new start, but instead revives her childhood friendship with Oscar (Jason Sudeikis), who runs a bar. After drinking a night away with Oscar and his friends, he wakes up to discover a gigantic monster rampaging through Seoul and realizes that somehow the monster is connected to her.

 

2. Dean

A comedy about loss, grief and the redemptive power of love, Dean is an NY illustrator who falls hard for an LA woman while trying to prevent his father from selling the family home in the wake of his mother's death.

 

3. Everything, Everything

The movie is based on a young-adult novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon. It tells the story of a teenager who's lived a sheltered life because she's allergic to everything, falls for the boy who moves in next door.

 

4. Ghost in the Shell

The Major (Scarlett Johansson) is a special ops, one-of-a-kind, human-cyborg hybrid who leads an elite task force known as Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, she faces an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotics' advancements in cyber technology.

 

5. Goon: Last of the Enforcers

A hockey player plagued by injuries is confronted with the possibility of retirement when a tough new player challenges his status as the league's top enforcer.

 

6. Maudie

Canadian folk artist Maud Lewis (Sally Hawkins) falls in love with a fishmonger (Ethan Hawke) while working for him as a live-in housekeeper.

 

7. The Bad Batch

A young woman (Suki Waterhouse) attempts to survive the cannibal-filled aftermath of the apocalypse in Texas in the second feature film from Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night). Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi, Keanu Reeves, and Jim Carrey co-star.

 

8. The Institute

In 19th century Baltimore, a girl stricken with grief from her parents' untimely death, voluntarily checks herself into the Rosewood Institute, and is subjected to bizarre and increasingly violent pseudo-scientific experiments in personality modification, brainwashing and mind control, she must escape the clutches of the Rosewood and exact her revenge.

 

9. The House

After losing their college fund, Scott (Will Ferrell) and Kate (Amy Poehler) must figure out a way to earn some cash so their daughter (Ryan Simpkins) can go to school. With help from their neighbor Frank (Jason Mantzoukas), the couple start an underground casino in the basement of their house. As the money rolls in and the good times fly, Scott and Kate soon learn that they may have bitten off more than they can chew.

 

10. The Ottoman Lieutenant

A strong-willed woman, frustrated by ongoing injustice at home, leaves the United States after meeting Jude, an American doctor who runs a remote medical mission within the Ottoman Empire, a world both exotic and dangerous, and on the brink of what is about to become the first World War. There, she finds her loyalty tested to both Jude and the mission's founder when she falls in love with their perceived enemy, a lieutenant in the Ottoman Imperial Army.
